چکیده

Tobacco production is a key line in the Cuban economy and generates largest income agricultural sector. Within phytopathogens affecting this plant, Fusarium spp., constitutes pest of interest, due to vascular involvements that cause deterioration commercial value leaf. Therefore, research was carried out with aim determining antagonistic activity vitro native strains Trichoderma harzianum T. viride on isolates oxysporum F. phyllophylum, from Nicotiana tabacum L. Granma province, Cuba. The work at Laboratory Agricultural Microbiology, University Granma. Half dextrose potato agar prepared establish dual crops spp. vs. Once treatments were established incubation time had elapsed, percentage inhibition mycelial growth, capacity mycoparasitic determined. A fully randomized design four replicas per treatment used two factorial ANOVA Tukey test (p≤0.05) for statistical processing. It shown recorded intermediate values phytopathogenic inhibition, competitiveness antagonist mostly located class Bell scale it found penetration, winding, vacuolization, deformation granulation constitute main forms mycoparasitism. Which points biocontrol method as an alternative consider management tobacco agroecosystems.

In vitro Studies on Biodegradation of Chlorpyrifos by Trichoderma viride and T. harzianum

Although a wide application of pesticides and herbicides are an essential part of augmenting crop yields, excessive use of these chemicals leads to the microbial imbalance of soil, environmental pollution and health hazards to human and animals. An ideal pesticide should have the ability to destroy target pests quickly and should get degrade the toxic and nontoxic substances as quickly as possi...

Molecular Characterization of Trichoderma viride and Trichoderma harzianum Isolated from Soils of North Bengal Based on rDNA Markers and Analysis of Their PCR-RAPD Profiles

Nineteen isolates of Trichoderma viride and Trichoderma harzianum obtained from rhizosphere soil of plantation crops, forest soil and agricultural fields of North Bengal region were studied using RAPD and ITS-PCR. The genetic relatedness among eleven isolates of T. viride and eight isolates of T. harzianum were analyzed with six random primers. RAPD profiles showed genetic diversity among the i...

Molecular characterization and identification of biocontrol isolates of Trichoderma spp.

The most common biological control agents (BCAs) of the genus Trichoderma have been reported to be strains of Trichoderma virens, T. harzianum, and T. viride. Since Trichoderma BCAs use different mechanisms of biocontrol, it is very important to explore the synergistic effects expressed by different genotypes for their practical use in agriculture. Characterization of 16 biocontrol strains, pre...

Nucleotide sequence of the cellobiohydrolase gene from Trichoderma viride.

The filamentous fungus, Trichoderma viride, secretes large amounts of several cellulolytic enzymes (1). We report here the nucleotide sequence of the gene coding for exo-cellobiohydrolase (CBH), which accounts for more than 65% of the total cellulase content. This gene was isolated from a T. viride genomic library using a 30mer oligonucleotide based on the sequence of the reported CBHI gene of ...
